Compassion

Compassion

What can we share during our interactions so peaceful becomes normal?

Our patience and understanding will help us find the answers with an open mind
that shares sincere feedback. When we focus on the positive and discover ways
to communicate honestly, our mind develops to recognize the best qualities in
others. The more we connect by putting ourselves in each other's shoes, we
discover why people do the things they do. Each time you can see how to help
someone without being asked, this positive energy is your compassion. Caring
about others and sharing this assurance with them lessens their anxiety with your
kindness. When you react with supportive actions that helps others see their
potential, your compassion is making an amazing difference, peacefully.

Beautiful thoughts Elaine. I've found that, just as people practice all kinds of behaviors to act out of anger or fear, they can also redirect that energy toward compassion. It does take a certain amount of courage to be able to let go of one's own needs and tend to another person's but the rewards are amazing. Suddenly we can breathe more easily and connect with people on a much deeper level. It requires being vulnerable as well and allowing people to see our innermost self.

Take care,

Guy

Why do you think anger and fear has become so common? Do people like each other less or are we pushed with too much
to do in too little time? Instead of reacting with anger, maybe we all need to stop and think for a moment about what the
situation is and rise above the challenge with a calm response that will help lessen the tension instead of increasing it.

We love your posts Susan! Simple, effective and so very true!
